Kings County Distillery is hiring a part-time Delivery Driver with the possibility to turn into a full-time position based out of Brooklyn, NY.
Kings County Distillery is New York City’s premier craft distillery and among the most acclaimed small distilleries in the United States. Focused exclusively on whiskeys, Kings County has made a name for its Bourbon, Peated Bourbon, Empire Rye and other creative whiskeys. We only distill whiskey for our label and we never sell whiskey made from any other source.
This is a great opportunity for a highly experienced individual to work closely with a small, passionate team as the company embarks on its next stage of growth.
The ideal candidate is someone who is punctual, professional, detail-oriented, and works well in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibility
- Deliver cases of Kings County Distillery throughout the 5 boroughs in a sprinter van on at minimum a twice a week basis. - - During the holidays, this may be as much as 4 days a week.
- Organize the delivery route taking into account neighborhoods & open/close times
- Properly pack product & double-check the order is correct
- Drop off the product at stores/restaurants
- Ability to professionally coordinate and work with our team. Must have the ability to communicate throughout the day with updates or to report any delays
- Drive safely while following all local motor-vehicle laws. Driver's license required to fulfill job duties. CDL appreciated but not needed.
